Job summary

Qualifications

• First professional law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the bar of a state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to work with others, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate interest in agency work.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, subpoenas, complaints, orders, rule proposals, and memoranda.
• Perform legal research, drafting, and legal analysis.
• Provide advisory and policy analysis within the office and participate in hearings or trials where appropriate.
