Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) seeks a Business Analyst to join a deadline-driven team serving state agencies and school districts. Based in Charlotte or Raleigh, NC, you will work in a hybrid environment helping implement special education management systems, funding rules, and other school-based revenue programs.

You will gather requirements, support clients, and liaise with software teams to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in education, business, or technical fields.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in K‑12 education, public‑sector programs, or education technology.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SQL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of materials for conferences, seminars, and client meetings; attending and participating as assigned.
• Develop competency in web-based technologies, system analysis, and software development processes.
• Support clients through implementation, major project phases, training, and ongoing use of technology applications and services.
• Gather, document, validate, and coordinate business requirements, project needs, and client expectations.
• Prepare and present written status reports, analyses, deliverables, presentations, training materials, and other client-facing communications.
• Conduct research on federal and state policy, legislation, industry requirements, and funding requirements relevant to assigned projects.
