Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise technology initiatives in a governmental environment. The role focuses on gathering and validating requirements for a new case management solution, facilitating discovery sessions, and documenting detailed business requirements and user stories.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines, identify automation opportunities, drive change management activities, and work with technical teams in Azure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience in Public Sector or Government environments.
• Experience with application modernization and case management systems.
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management and requirements tracking.
• Ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings across diverse business groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience supporting change management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and system needs.
• Gather, document, and validate requirements for a new case management solution.
• Facilitate interviews and discovery sessions to define current and future state needs.
• Create process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities and future-state capabilities within the system.
• Support change management and user adoption activities.
• Develop training materials and project artifacts; manage risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with technical teams and product owners within Azure DevOps to manage requirements and backlogs.
• Participate in solution evaluation, system selection, and recommendations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and business impact analyses.
• Support testing activities including UAT and test case validation.
• Assist with data collection, mapping, and data management related to modernization.
