Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Public Sector Internal Audit & Risk Senior Consultant to join its Risk Advisory practice. You will work with clients to assess risks, develop strategies, and implement controls across governmental and public-sector entities.

Responsibilities include identifying risks, communicating findings, and delivering high-quality client service while growing in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree required.
• Three (3) years of experience required.
• CPA or CIA certifications preferred.
• Experience with Yellow Book/GAGAS performance audits.
• Public sector knowledge (state/local government, public utility, transit and/or K-12) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage financial and operational risks with client executives.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses through direct client interaction.
• Provide strategic business assurance by implementing new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Draft comprehensive executive summaries and final reports for delivery to the client.
• Build relationships and deliver superior client service to stakeholders.
