Job summary

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) seeks a candidate to join its Budget and Finance team to perform professional accounting functions as a primary work assignment, and to work on various phases of a fiscal program. The authorized level is Accountant III, with possible filling at Accountant IV depending on qualifications.

Work is in the HART offices in Honolulu, Hawaii (no telecommuting) with typical 8‑hour shifts; relocation costs are not covered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent with major work in accounting.
• Two years of professional accounting experience for Grade III; three years for Grade IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional accounting work for a fiscal program and related services.
• Work on various phases of the fiscal program under the Budget and Finance team.
