Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years in EMS, Fire, Emergency Management or Law Enforcement.
• Certifications in Fire Instructor, Law Enforcement Instructor, EMS Instructor or Emergency Management Instructor preferred.
• Valid North Carolina Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing training programs at the facility.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (NC DEHNR, OSHA, EPA).
• Assist in preventative maintenance of equipment and routine checks.
• Prepare reports and maintain various records.
• Repair or adjust equipment and components as needed.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of apparatus, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
