Qualifications

• GED or HS Equivalency Diploma is required.
• 1 year of experience responding to alarms (burglar, fire, etc.).
• Strong English communication skills and ability to interact professionally with the public and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and coordinate dispatch for Public Safety staff.
• Respond to alarms and calls via telephone, radio, and computer-aided dispatch systems.
• Communicate effectively in routine, urgent, and emergency situations; maintain central database information.
• Keep informed of organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of information encountered in the role.
