Job summary

SmartCop, part of Harris Computer, is seeking a Software Engineer to deliver reliable, scalable applications that help first responders stay informed and safe. You will contribute across the full SDLC, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and testing practices.

Candidates should have strong C# experience, MS SQL Server skills, and understanding of .NET, n‑tier architectures, and web services.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or closely related field or its equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Ability to collaborate and participate in meetings during regular North American Central Time zone business hours.
• Candidate must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Candidate must be United States-based.
• Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of applicable government background checks required for access to sensitive public safety information.
