Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a Per Diem Security Officer to safeguard patients, staff and visitors. The role includes electronic surveillance, rounds, and rapid response to incidents in a hospital setting.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and State Guard Certification Registration Card. A state driver’s license is required upon hire. The position offers hourly compensation ranging from $23.00 to $26.22.

Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance and security rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to potential problems for patients, employees and visitors.
• Enforces policy and procedure to ensure equitable enforcement.
• Works with Environment of Care to ensure multi-disciplinary security and safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education; driving as needed for company business.

Responsibilities

Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers’ rounds. Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education. . Driving as needed for company business.

Encino Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.00 to $26.22. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
