Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston seeks a Security Officer to provide onsite protection on Saturdays and Sundays from 11pm to 7am. Under supervision, you will patrol, monitor alarms and cameras, respond to emergencies, and support patients, staff and visitors with professional, courteous service.
You will conduct investigations, prepare reports, and may be cross-trained for special duties at various sites.
This position is fully onsite Saturday and Sunday from 11pm-7am.
Under close supervision, provides emergency response to a variety of situations and incidents to support the department, patients, clinicians and/or faculty. Provides protection to people and property through patrol, investigation, monitoring alarms, and surveillance cameras. Provides a high level of customer service by interacting with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner that is proactive, friendly, and helpful. Uses various office software to produce reports. May be required to interface with senior management, cross-organizations, and internal and external customers. For all of these, the work will require the application of well-established techniques, procedures, or standards.
