• Receive, dispatch, and log radio traffic on multiple frequencies.
• Receive, dispatch, and log emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Monitor alarms and cameras, dispatch, and log events.
• Greet visitors and provide directions on campus.
• Follow assignments and inform field officers as needed.
• May obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Work at the Main Entrance, operate dispatch, and greet visitors.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Entry & Intermediate level positions
• Able to work assigned shifts, which may include day, evening, night, weekend, or holiday shift hours
• Receive, dispatch, and log radio traffic on multiple radio frequencies
• Receive, dispatch, and log emergency and non-emergency phone calls at the Main Entrance
• Monitor fire and security alarms and cameras, dispatch, and log all alarms received
• Greet visitors to the campus, answer questions, and provide directions
• Follow established assignment schedule, ensure field officers are informed, and log all assignments completed
• May obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Must (occasionally) lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Not a student role- students may apply to the student role on the BJU Student Job board
