Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher with emphasis in a relevant area.
• Requires customer service or telecommunications center experience.
• Must achieve mandatory certifications (State DOH 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator, FCIC/NCIC Level 2) within set timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a courteous and empathetic manner.
• Answer radio and phone calls, determine nature/location, dispatch units, coordinate with agencies.
• Enter, retrieve, and compile data using NCIC/FCIC and related systems.
• Operate CAD and mapping software, ensure accurate incident coding and case numbers.
• Support department leadership with timely notifications and data sharing.
