Job summary

Heritage Auctions in Dallas, TX invites motivated students to join our Public Relations Internship. You will work with our PR team on communications projects, write and edit press materials, and help build targeted media lists for notable auctions.

This paid internship lasts eight weeks to 90 days. You should have strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills, with coursework in public relations, journalism, English, marketing, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and a current college student or recent graduate.
• Coursework or experience in public relations, communications, journalism, English, marketing, or related field.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit post-auction press releases for smaller auctions.
• Create and organize online press kits.
• Research rare collectibles and auction highlights.
• Build and update targeted media lists.
• Assist with outreach and communication with reporters.
• Support additional PR and media-relations projects as needed.
