FIRY, located onsite in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an exceptional early‑career Public Relations Associate to join the Communications team. You’ll train with the Head of Brand Communications and contribute to CEO communications, press releases, and media strategy.

You’ll draft executive remarks, thought leadership, pitches, and briefing materials, growing into more visible assignments with guidance and accountability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
• Up to one year of professional communications experience. Internships, agency work, newsroom roles, student agencies, and research centers all count.
• A portfolio of strong writing. Bylines, journalism, agency work, executive-style writing, press materials, and campaigns may qualify.
• Ability to write in a voice other than your own and move between formats without losing clarity.
• Exceptional attention to factual accuracy, grammar, audience, and deadlines.
• Discretion to handle pre-announcement, personnel, financial, and executive information.
• Familiarity with AI writing and research tools, with a balanced view on their help vs. limits.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a first-draft writer for internal CEO memos, all-hands messaging, leadership updates, executive remarks, talking points, Q&A, and briefing materials.
• Draft press releases and announcement materials. Own the release calendar, assemble review packets, and coordinate routing across Communications, Legal, Investor Relations, Product, and partners.
• Build and maintain segmented media lists, research reporters, draft and send targeted pitches, and help prepare executives for media engagements.
• Ghostwrite bylined articles and other executive content in the leader's voice.
• Own the executive awards and speaking pipeline, from research to nomination drafting and submission.
• Maintain executive bios, boilerplate, fact sheets, proof points, and the corporate messaging house.
• Track earned coverage and adapt future releases, pitches, and materials based on findings.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve research, drafting, editing, and variant generation, while ensuring accuracy.
