  • Must possess effective communication and computer operation skills.
  • Must understand and comply with department policies, local ordinances, and state/federal laws related to records release.
  • Position requires strict confidentiality and successful pre-employment screening (background check, drug screen).
  • Must be able to perform fingerprinting tasks (physical guidance of hand movements).

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process requests for police records and release reports to citizens and requestors.
  • Provide informational services to the public via phone, mail, electronic, and in-person.
  • Sell documents and handle payments; balance drawers and cash registers.
