Job summary

The Yuba County District Attorney’s Office seeks a Deputy District Attorney III to prosecute complex cases on behalf of the People, upholding justice with integrity and professionalism. You will engage in high-level legal writing and oral advocacy while preserving public safety.

Minimum: Juris Doctorate and active CA Bar; four years of relevant experience. Preferred: more experience as an attorney or intern, and willingness to undergo background checks and Live Scan.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school is required.
• Active California Bar membership is required prior to conditional offer.
• Experience as an attorney in the practice of law is preferred for higher levels.
