Job summary

The City of Stockton is seeking a Project Manager I in the Fire Department to plan, organize, and administer city projects of varying complexity. The role involves leading project teams, coordinating with staff, and preparing budgets and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major in engineering, business or public administration, or closely related field.
• Or Associate degree with 60 semester units and 3 years of project leadership in government or engineering projects.
• Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and administer Public Works, Municipal Utilities, or other City projects.
• Lead project teams and coordinate procurement and contract activities.
• Prepare progress reports and budgets for CIP projects.
• Represent the City in meetings with agencies, developers, and the public.
