Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking an Associate Director for our Public Project Management team in Richmond, CA. You will act as the owner's representative on complex public projects, guiding planning, design and construction with a focus on schedule and budget control.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, nurture client relationships, and drive project delivery from inception through completion, with growth opportunities across education-focused programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of PM experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules on complex projects.
• K-12/DSA project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large project team or multiple small project teams, managing scope, cost and schedule.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and lead business development opportunities.
• Oversee monthly budgets, billing, and projections.
• Mentor junior staff and build technical skills within the team.
• Develop and facilitate owner consultant, Architect, and GC RFPs.
