Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a seasoned policy professional to lead advocacy for AI and immersive technologies, shaping public discourse and partnerships on a global scale. You will design policy experiences, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and manage campaigns that demonstrate the value of AI innovations to governments and stakeholders.

The role requires a strong policy background, experience in AI technologies, and the ability to engage diverse audiences while advancing responsible innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, law, political science or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in policy or legal roles with a focus on AI technology or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead demonstrations for policy audiences using AI, wearables, VR, and other cutting‑edge technologies.
• Design and execute policy experiences and events for policy stakeholders.
• Develop outreach programs and campaigns to advocate for AI's economic and social value.
• Engage with policymakers, trade groups, industry partners, and nonprofits to shape public discussion.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Legal, Communications, and Partnerships teams on policy programs.
• Build coalitions with other organizations to advance policy goals.
• Project manage innovative policy programs, including new AI products.
• Independently manage smaller advocacy campaigns or co‑lead larger campaigns.

What You’ll Do

• Lead demonstrations, providing policy audiences with hands‑on experiences using AI solutions, wearables, virtual reality, and other cutting‑edge technologies.
• Design, create, and execute innovative policy experiences and events to educate and inform policy stakeholders.
• Develop strategic outreach programs and policy campaigns to advocate for the economic and social value of AI innovation.
• Support engagement with policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, key opinion formers, non‑profit groups, and others to contribute to the public discussion on the economic and social value of innovative technologies, such as AI.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Communications, and Partnerships teams, as well as global policy teams, to build and drive programs and campaigns that demonstrate the value of AI innovation.
• Build coalitions with other organizations to advance the company’s policy goals.
• Develop and project manage innovative policy programs and campaigns, including those for new AI products.
• Independently manage smaller advocacy campaigns or collaborate on the management of larger campaigns, serving as a primary lead in some cases.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders to champion AI innovation.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, law, political science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in policy or legal roles, with a focus on AI technology or other related technologies.

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

• Experience in any of the following areas: AI technologies, wearables, virtual reality, policy programs and campaigns, security, privacy, integrity, competition, and the surrounding policy environments.
• Knowledge and experience with AI, open‑source innovation, wearables, and virtual reality.
• Policy stakeholder engagement experience.
• Policy Programs and Campaigns experience.
