Qualifications

Degree-seeking student at Texas A&M University main campus
Majoring in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences
Preference given to former interns of ANRP/PPIP/PPSP
Willing to work flexible hours for evenings or weekends
Strong writing and public speaking skills required
Comfort with interaction with students, public officials and government agencies
Able to solve problems, act independently, and think critically

Responsibilities

Attend career fairs, classes, student organization meetings and other events to promote the programs and recruit applicants.
Assist students in defining career goals and steps; plan intern interviews, trainings and events; edit materials.
Work with spreadsheets, timelines and program documents; draft letters, memos and meeting materials; liaise with stakeholders; observe interactions with officials in DC, Austin, and abroad.
