Job summary

Donor Development Strategies and WFYI are recruiting canvassers in Indianapolis to build community support for the PBS and NPR affiliate through door-to-door outreach.

No experience is required as paid training is provided. Work 1:00 PM–9:00 PM and earn a $20 per hour base pay, plus potential $100 weekly bonuses for full-time staff, PTO, subsidized health vision dental, 401(k) with automatic employer contributions, and IRS-rate driving reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Enjoy talking to people.
• Interested in fundraising for a great cause.
• Value public media and community outreach.
• Ability to walk for 5+ hours outside every day going door-to-door.
• No experience required – paid training provided.
• Ability to work a 1:00PM - 9:00PM schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to build community support for the PBS/NPR affiliate.
• Engage with the public in a respectful, informative manner.
• Attend paid training and comply with schedule.
