Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
Computer skills including Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Internetand email. Skills include use of websites, X, Facebook, Instagram,YouTube, TikTok and other social media. Training in emerging social media platforms as needed. Demonstrated effective presentation, collaboration, verbal and written skills are required.
Training or experience in communications with a variety of media preferred. Will be required to assist and supervise High School interns in the creation of social media content.
The Board of Education and Superintendent may approve alternatives to some of the listed qualifications.
Job Goal: Informs the community of school district activities, information, and accomplishments to effectively promote the district. Helps communicate district objectives and goals. Works with Administrators to tell the District’s story.
Employment Terms: Temporary Contract; 7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M., exclusive of a lunch. Position will be ended January 8 th . Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications

Evaluation: Annually by Superintendent

Occasional Requirements: Ability to administer CPR, Walk, reach withhands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 25 pounds
Visual Requirements: Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information

Salary: $18.95 Per Hour
