Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in writing and research.
• Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and meet established deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills. Interest in history, culture, public history, education, museums, libraries, heritage tourism, or related fields.
• Ability to collaborate with organizations and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Author, edit, review, and improve Clio entries, including the production of new articles while also editing and improving existing articles for historical and cultural landmarks throughout the United States.
• Conduct research, organize historical information, and create engaging public-facing content related to historical and cultural landmarks.
• Partner with museums, libraries, historical societies, educators, and community organizations to support their use of Clio.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
