Job summary

King County's Tuberculosis Program seeks a Community TB Prevention professional to expand outreach, education, and partnerships with schools and community organizations. The role drives TB testing and treatment initiatives with a focus on equity.

You will develop educational materials, collaborate with clinical and surveillance teams, and lead network outreach efforts while supporting data reporting and budget tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with external partners and stakeholders (community orgs, schools, health jurisdictions).
• Ability to provide consultation and technical assistance to community partners.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete assignments reliably.
• Strong oral and written communication with supervisor, coworkers, partners, stakeholders.
• Experience creating and delivering public health messaging to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build community capacity and trust to provide outreach and education about TB testing and treatment.
• Oversee targeted testing planning and implementation.
• Lead partnership work with schools and manage student internships.
• Develop communication strategies to sustain relationships with community orgs.
• Create educational materials/FAQs to improve TB understanding.
• Prepare invoices and assist in budget development and monitoring.
• Support social media material creation and data quality.
