State of Georgia's District 4 Public Health is seeking a Public Health Registered Nurse to provide professional care under protocols, with emphasis on population health and emergency preparedness. The role involves assessments, care planning, medication administration, and community education in Fayette County.

The RN level depends on experience, with Level 2 offering about $58k and Level 3 about $66k annually, plus benefits. Must hold GA RN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing plus one year of nursing experience or higher level as described.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with active Georgia RN license and CPR certification.
• PHN course completed within one year of hire or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care per established nurse protocols and procedures.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments for all ages and clinical programs.
• Develop care plans based on nursing assessment and protocols.
• Administer and dispense medications and vaccines per nurse protocol.
• Educate clients, families, and community partners; serve as patient advocate.
• Document care and billing information in EMR for reimbursement.
• Prepare to respond to public health emergencies and complete monthly reports.
