Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Public Health Registered Nurse Case Manager to oversee well-child and immunization programs in Bethel and surrounding villages. You will lead case management for pediatric preventive care, immunization services, and infectious disease screening while training Community Health Aides and Practitioners.

The role requires Alaska RN licensure, 2+ years in public health, and strong cross-cultural communication.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Alaska is required
• Current BLS; ACLS and PALS recommended
• Experience in pediatrics is preferred
• Ability to train CHA/Ps in public health procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive case management for well-child immunizations, preventive exams, and disease screening.
• Travel to villages to deliver on-site services and training to CHA/Ps.
• Educate communities on immunizations, chronic care, and preventive health.
• Coordinate with physicians and other providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and monitor progress.
• Stay current with public health knowledge to improve program outcomes.
