University Health seeks a Program and Policy Specialist to support health promotion, disease prevention, and policy change initiatives in Eastern Jackson County. You will work with community partners to develop, implement and evaluate programs addressing public health priorities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Support development and implementation of health promotion and policy initiatives.
Research evidence-based practices and use public health data to inform programs.
Assist with community health assessments and disease prevention efforts.
Develop educational materials and public health communications for diverse audiences.
Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and public agencies.
Assist with grant applications, proposals, reports, and program documentation.
Prepare monthly and annual program reports and present health information clearly.
