Job summary

Anoka County is seeking a skilled program manager to oversee the Opioid Settlement Fund and related public health initiatives. You will coordinate grants, reporting, and policy development while leading community engagement and communications efforts.

The role requires collaboration with internal and external partners, data analysis for program improvement, and travel to county sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health, behavioral science, or closely related field.
• Two years of job-related experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or prevention education.
• Two years of job-related experience managing grants, budgets, and/or funding projects.
• Ability to travel to various county work sites and meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for complex public health programs, primarily administering and coordinating the Opioid Settlement Fund
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for RFPs, grants, and contracts
• Coordinate proposal development, leadership and purchasing review, review teams, applicant questions, award processes, and timely payments
• Meet with RFP recipients, provide technical assistance, respond to requests, support reporting, and maintain tracking systems, invoices, and documentation
• Coordinate public health communications, including social media, ADA-compliant images, website updates, and media activities
• Lead naloxone activities, including onboarding access-point sites, supporting existing sites, and coordinating supplies
