Job summary

Prospect Infosys Inc is seeking a Public Health Program Director for a 9-month contract. The role leads program development, manages contracts, and applies data to planning and evaluation.

You will coordinate with multiple partners and communities, with travel statewide as needed. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in public health and 5+ years in health program management, strong data skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health or related field from accredited college.
• 5+ years of relevant health program management experience.
• Experience with contract oversight, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ability to lead or support multi-partner initiatives.
• Strong data use for program planning and evaluation.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience providing training or technical assistance preferred.
• Knowledge of maternal, fetal, infant health and rural health preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally and statewide.
• Remote work with periodic in-person meetings; onboarding in Nashville on first day.

Job Title: Public Health Program Director

Duration: 9 Months Contract

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in public health orarelated field
• Experience equivalent to substantial (5 years or more) of full-time, increasingly responsible professional health program work
• Experiencein program or grant management, including contract oversight, budgeting, and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to lead or support multi-partner initiatives or community collaboratives
• Strong understanding of public health data and experience applying data to program planning and evaluation
• Excellent organizational, project management, andproblem-solvingskills
• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including community members and individuals with livedexperience
• Experienceproviding training or technicalassistanceis preferred
• Knowledge of maternal, fetal, and infant healthand rural health systems is preferred
• Ability to travel within assigned regions and statewide as needed
• Ability to workremotelywith periodic in-person meetings in Davidson County andassigned rural locations
• In-Office Requirements:
  1. New hires will be required to come in for the first day of employment for laptop deployment and onboarding in Nashville, and at least monthly, or as requested by hiring manager.
  2. Travel to the Nashville office will not be reimbursed.
• Typical working hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM, 37.5 hours per week
