Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health is currently seeking a Public Health Planner to join its well-trained, motivated workforce.

As a Public Health Planner, you will serve Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health by planning and supporting efforts that advance evidence-based health promotion and prevention efforts, mobilize community partnerships to implement evidence-based public health policy, advance health equity through systems, policy, and environmental change, and participate in the advance of community health assessment, community health improvement plans, and policy development. Conducts policy analysis, needs assessment, and analysis of policies, and recommends changes to support public health goals. Support the fulfillment of the organization’s missionand values.
