Job summary

The County of El Dorado is recruiting a Public Health Officer for Placerville, California. This is a full-time, on-site role to lead county public health initiatives within the Health Department.

Applicants who meet the education and experience requirements and are within six months of obtaining the required certifications will proceed through a competitive recruitment process and be placed on the eligible list; notification to HR on certification completion is required.

Job description

Applicants who meet the education and experience requirements and are within six months of obtaining the required certifications will be allowed to continue in the competitive recruitment process; and if successful, will be placed on the eligible list. However, an applicant shall not be referred for the department hiring interview until completion and receipt of the qualifying certifications. It will be applicant’s responsibility to notify the Human Resources Department upon completion and receipt of the qualifying certifications.
