Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nutrition or related field.

Responsibilities

• Delivers engaging, evidence-based nutrition education to groups of children, adolescents, and adults within Harris County. Including cooking and physical activity demonstrations.
• Assists in the development and implementation of nutrition and physical activity curriculum, trainings, and presentations to meet the needs of the target population.
• Plans and performs outreach activities to increase program’s engagement and participation.
• Attends community events and builds partnerships with local organizations to promote nutrition and physical activity education.
• Keeps abreast of current research, approaches, theories, and practices related to nutrition and physical activity.
• Collect and analyze program data to provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and outcomes.
• Other tasks as assigned.
