Job summary

City of Springdale is seeking a Part-time Public Health Nurse to promote community health through home visits and clinic services. The role focuses on disease prevention, health education, and addressing health disparities in Springdale.

Responsibilities include immunization coordination, patient assessments, administering medications per physician directives, and maintaining confidential records. 20–28 hours/week, typically 8am–5pm, with a flexible, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Possess and maintain RN/MSL license with Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to interpret public health laws and guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse communities.
• Ability to maintain confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to homebound Springdale residents.
• Provide nursing services in the health Department clinic.
• Coordinate immunization clinics and manage vaccine inventory.
• Administer immunizations and ensure vaccine information is recorded accurately.
• Conduct health screenings and patient assessments.
