Job summary

The County of Thurston is seeking a Nurse Manager for their Disease Control & Prevention Division. This pivotal role involves overseeing ten staff members and ensuring program success through strategic management, fiscal oversight, and community partnership.

Qualifications

Must be currently licensed as a Washington State Registered Nurse.
Five years of experience in professional environmental work including experience in budget preparation and program planning and implementation.
A minimum of two years supervisory experience of nursing staff is also required.

Manage complex budgets with diverse funding streams.
Ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Lead a team dedicated to investigating and managing cases of communicable diseases.
