The County of San Diego's Health and Human Services Agency seeks a qualified Public Health Nurse Manager to lead the Polinski Children’s Center Clinic and support 24/7 public health center operations. You will plan, direct and coordinate nursing services, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality community health delivery.

The starting salary for this position will be based on the candidate’s qualifications at time of appointment.
As a Public Health Nurse Manager for the County of San Diego, you will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the overall services and activities for our Polinski Children’s Center Clinic and providing support to the operations of a public health center. Duties include developing and directing the delivery of services at our 24/7 Polinski Children’s Center as this facility operates 365 days a year. This position will also at times, help support the operations of one of six Public Health Centers within San Diego County.
The current opening is with our Public Health Centers and Polinski Children’s Center Clinic however the eligible list from this recruitment may be used for other vacancies as they occur.

Note: A master's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in nursing or health related field can substitute for one (1) year of registered nursing experience and cannot be applied to the required two (2) years of supervision/management.
