Job summary

State of Oklahoma in Enid is seeking a part-time Public Health Nurse II to provide immunization services, WIC, STD and family planning, and disease investigation. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, planning and execution of medical regimens with supervision as needed.

Hours are up to 19 per week, Monday–Friday, at 2501 S Mercer. The position requires an Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC) and at least one year of nursing experience, or a BSN with permanent RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Oklahoma RN license or eNLC recognition.
• One year of professional nursing experience OR a BSN with permanent RN license.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, health promotion, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and develop plans for individuals and communities.
• Deliver professional nursing care in clinics, homes, or units.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health promotion.
• Provide supervision to staff and collaborate with health care teams.
• Ensure quality care through chart review and evaluation.
