**This is a Multi-Hire Position** The Virginia Department of Health offers 12 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, retirement plans (including 401a Cash Match and 457 Deferred Compensation Plan) as well as sick, family/personal, and annual leave. The total value of employment with VDH, including VRS, affordable healthcare premiums, generous leave benefits, flexible work arrangements, and predictable schedules! **This is a REPOSTED position** The BabyCare program has case managed, medically and socially underserved maternity and pediatric clients for the past 28 years with outstanding outcomes. It consistently has produced lower infant mortality rates than that of the City of Chesapeake in general with a majority of the years, having no infant deaths in the client population. The BabyCare RN home visiting program is in line with VDH mission to decrease infant mortality rates and premature births and fits equally as well into Virginia's plan for well-being, AIM2: a strong start for children! This is a restricted position, which is solely funded by the Title IV for July 2026 period ending July 2028. The availability of funding is scheduled for review before the grant expiration date and periodically thereafter. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of funds.
