Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 season of experience in pest management or environmental monitoring.
• Must possess a Texas Driver's License (upon hire).
• Within one year, obtain Texas Certified Pesticide Noncommercial Political Applicator’s License.
• Proficient in reading maps and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mosquito larval development sites and adult populations across designated areas.
• Sample, photograph, map breeding sites and record data.
• Apply control measures and monitor pesticide usage per regulations.
• Perform nighttime ULV applications as required.
• Maintain vehicles and spray equipment; assist with minor repairs.
• Respond to emergency events as needed.
