The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in public health microbiology labs, a California Public Health Microbiologist certificate, and experience in training, safety procedures, and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a local or state Public Health Laboratory.
• Must hold a current Public Health Microbiologist certificate issued by CDPH LFS.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities; able to train and coordinate staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee attendance, trainings and records for PHM training.
• Ensure compliance with lab safety procedures and CDPH policies.
• Coordinate training schedules with SMEs, volunteers and CAPHLD partners.
• Maintain PHM training records, rosters and documentation; manage curriculum changes.
