Qualifications

• Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school and at least one year full-time, pertinent laboratory experience in a related field of study.
• A valid vehicle operator's license is required for employment.
• Undergraduate or graduate work may substitute for the required experience on a year-to-year basis up to two years; transcripts must be uploaded.

Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory personnel in testing processes and operations, prioritizing workloads and completing assignments accurately.
• Assist with routine administrative tasks, data management and record retention per processes and procedures.
• Accurately receive, accession, and route specimens to the appropriate laboratory sections for processing.
• Assist in inventory management, procurement, waste management and distribution of reagents and media supplies.
• Contribute to process improvements, perform routine equipment service and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
