Job summary

Weld County Public Health Department is offering a part-time Community Health Intern position to support the Mobile Unit evaluation. The internship is 150 hours, beginning in January, at a rate of $25.00 per hour.

The focus is on qualitative evaluation through storytelling and key informant interviews with partner organizations involved with the Mobile Unit in 2025. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master of Public Health program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in MPH program
• Preferred experience in public health, healthcare, community-based programs, research, or governmental settings.
• Experience with data collection, analysis, or evaluation through coursework, projects, or employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied public health work aligning with practicum, capstone, or internship requirements.
• Assist with planning, implementation, evaluation, or quality improvement activities.
• Support development of protocols, tools, workflows, or program materials.
• Assist with data collection, management, analysis, or interpretation for public health programs.
• Contribute to reports, summaries, dashboards, presentations, or written products for internal decisions or grants.
• Coordinate practicum/capstone/internship requirements with academic advisors and supervisors.
