Job summary

Department of State Health Services in Temple, TX seeks an Immunization Generalist to support VAOS, ImmTrac2, and TVFC provider activities. You will assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation to meet program objectives, analyzing data and preparing reports for public health professionals and the public.

Responsibilities include training providers, educating stakeholders about immunization guidelines, and coordinating vaccine inventory and reporting in accordance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the federal, state and public health laws regarding immunization.
• Knowledge of data management.
• Knowledge of vaccine management, storage & handling rules.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular schedule and perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide training to TVFC providers and education to healthcare professionals.
• Develop and deliver Immunization Education Workshop sessions for health professionals.
