Job summary

DOCS Health in the United States is seeking a part- or full-time dental hygienist (preference for public health focus) to join an established dental team. The role includes hygiene services, patient education, and shared administrative tasks, with benefits such as 401K and health coverage.

The hygienist will document encounters in the EMR, collaborate with the dentist and team, and may assist as a chairside assistant when needed. A PA license and radiology certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active PA dental hygiene license.
• Active dental radiology certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a hygienist.
• Public health hygiene experience preferred.
• Reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to professional standards within the practice of dental hygiene.
• Perform routine hygiene services within a defined scope of care.
• Assess oral health, report findings to dentist and document patient encounter in EMR.
• Provide patient education on oral health as relates to overall health.
• Work in conjunction with dental team members.
• Function as chairside dental assistant during absence of the primary dental assistant.
• Collaborative communication.
• Assist as needed with updating Company protocols within your field to ensure compliance with dental industry standards.
