City of New York is hiring a NFP Home Nurse Visitor in the Bureau of Maternal Infant and Reproductive Health. This full-time role, with a salary band of $100,000 to $125,000, offers the potential for two days of work-from-home depending on assignment.

The nurse will assess needs, counsel families, and coordinate care across health and social services. Requirements include NYS RN licensure, a BSN, and at least two years in maternal/child health or a related field.

Competenze

• Must have RN license and current registration in NYS.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of full-time maternal/child health, pediatric health, or related public health experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Apply the nursing process to assess six domains related to maternal and child health.
• Assist women and families in setting goals and measurable outcomes.
• Provide counseling on prenatal and postpartum care, nutrition, parenting, housing, education, and employment.
• Evaluate progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Develop trusting relationships with families and facilitate problem-solving.
