Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Public Health, Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
• For Assistant Professor, ABD will be considered; must have degree at the time of appointment.
• Evidence of peer‑reviewed publications and externally funded research (Associate Professor).
• Experience mentoring graduate students and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand a nationally recognized, externally funded research program in biostatistics, health AI, or related areas.
• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in biostatistics, epidemiology, health data science, AI, and related disciplines.
• Mentor master's and doctoral students while fostering a collaborative research environment.
• Develop interdisciplinary collaborations applying statistics, AI and analytics to public health.
• Publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Provide leadership in curriculum development and faculty mentoring (Associate Professor).
