Responsibilities

Perform advanced nursing functions with delegated physician protocol.
Conduct physicals, screen and order tests, provide treatment and counseling.
Manage chronic illnesses and develop comprehensive care plans.
Perform limited acute care visits per nursing protocols.
Counsel on prescribed regimens, growth, development, and health maintenance.
Interpret tests and ensure follow-up per protocol.
Make tentative diagnoses and treatment decisions with physician oversight.
Record medical data and perform therapeutic procedures including injections and immunizations.
Order therapy or medication with physician approval.
Proficient with LARC procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals; training available if needed.
