Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; 10+ years in governmental accounting/finance.
• At least 3 years supervisory or management experience; master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license; CPA/CGFO designations preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and oversees fiscal activities for the City’s overall financial management and planning.
• Invests City funds in safe, insured instruments and manages contracts.
• Directs and oversees budget development, submission and administration of budgets.
• Chairs or participates on boards/committees; presents to City officials.
• Oversees retirement program requirements and employee education.
• Oversees insurance administration, workers’ compensation, and claims.
• Develops and implements strategies to improve operational efficiency.
