PFM is offering a summer internship designed to expose students to public finance through hands-on analysis and mentoring. You’ll contribute to client engagements, perform research, and assist with financial analyses that inform key decisions. The program emphasizes learning, growth, and potential full-time Analyst opportunities.

The internship pays a base of $20.00–$21.00 per hour, with mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to diverse practice areas across our firm.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Rising junior or senior in the 2026-27 school year at a four year college or university.
• Compelling interest in building a career in public finance with related coursework or internships.
• Evidence of strong academic achievement in pursuit of an undergraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative analysis and financial modeling to support projects with customized models and spreadsheets.
• Presentations, reports and summaries outlining financial scenarios and recommendations to clients.
• Marketing, business development support and review of financial, legal and proposal documents.
