Overview

• The firm's Public Finance Practice Group, part of its Public and Private Infrastructure & Real Estate Department, advises public and private clients across sectors including non-profit, higher education, for-profit, energy infrastructure, healthcare, waste-to-energy, recycling, governmental, and industrial sectors, on all types of complex tax-exempt and taxable financings and refinancings.
• The role involves reviewing, drafting, and analyzing underlying credit support, tax, construction, and management agreements; drafting and negotiating financing and offering documents, certificates, and opinions; and analyzing complex federal tax issues related to financings and refinancings.
• The Counsel will take a leading role on transactions, independently managing matters from structuring through closing.
• Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, issuers, underwriters, lenders, and other working group members.
• Responsibilities also include supervising and mentoring associates and paralegals, collaborating with partners on client relationship development, and contributing to the practice's business development initiatives.
