Cumming Group is seeking an Associate Director to join the Public Project Management team in Richmond, CA, focusing on education clients. You will serve as owner’s representative, managing planning, design, and construction with schedule and budget oversight.

The role requires strong K-12 project delivery experience, leadership of project teams, and active involvement from inception through completion on high-profile assignments.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning or related field.
• 10+ years PM experience including management.
• CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEEDry Exempt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large project team or multiple small project teams, controlling scope, cost, and schedule.
• Bring new business opportunities to the firm through client relationships.
• Maintain monthly project budgets and forecasted expenditures.
• Be responsible for monthly billing and projections.
• Lead staff development through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Develop and oversee owner/consultant RFPs and contracts.
